The wonder of DTV education has landed me in Juneau, Alaska. It is cold and rainy all the time, which has not improved the cold I picked up before coming here.

Mendenhall Glacier. I took this from a random parking lot near a Safeway. There was a sign saying "Mendenhall River," I looked up and there was a glacier!

I ate here. Only it was this sunny or closed when I was here on Friday. Turns out they closed shortly afterwards for "cleaning" and we should all look forward to "lots of beer and a new menu" when they reopen. Anything will be an improvement over what I had Friday.Oh and that green thing that looks like it's going to fall over is a bear-proof garbage can.
They're all over the city, which worries me a little.
